About the Hadrian’s Wall Trek
What is the Hadrian’s Wall Trek?
Follow in the footsteps of the Roman legions on this fantastic weekend trekking challenge as we trek from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia.
Trekking 25 miles along the most remarkable Roman monument in the country, The Hadrian’s Wall route encompasses breathtaking views and fascinating ruins with the picturesque Northumberland countryside providing stunning backdrops from start to finish.
How difficult is the Trek?
All challenges are graded on a scale from 1 to 3 to indicate the level of difficulty, 1 being the lowest challenge grade and 3 being the most challenging.
This challenge has been graded as Tough (2) on our challenge grading scheme, meaning the trek has been designed to be challenging but achievable as long as you
train beforehand. You will be trekking for 2 consecutive days covering 25 miles. A good cardiovascular fitness is required – the fitter you are the more you will enjoy the challenge!
Training tips can be found on the organisers website to point you in the right direction.
When is this taking place?
The Trek will take place on 26 – 28 June 2026
How much does it cost?
To take part, there’s a £95 registration fee paid directly to the event organiser. After that, we ask you to aim for a fundraising target of £650, every penny you raise will help us provide vital support, hope, and care to those affected by ocular melanoma.
