Dealing with an ocular melanoma diagnosis can be overwhelming. Our specialist therapists have a wealth of experience on learning how to adjust living with the unique challenges of this condition and are there to support you.

Thats why we offer funded specialist psychological support sessions to help you manage the emotional impact.

We can help with:

Emotional support.  We can offer information and support to anyone going through diagnosis, treatment, and adjustment to eye cancer, and to friends and family who need someone to talk to.

Meeting others.  We can put you in touch with other patients or family members, whether that be online, on the phone, or in person.

Understanding pathways.  We can help you interpret the national guidelines for uveal melanoma.  We may be able to signpost you to the right support and have information on latest developments, such as clinical trials that might be of interest.

We cannot help with:

Clinical advice.  Only your clinical team can tell you whether a treatment is right for you. We are not able to provide any Clinical Advice, if you are experiencing side effects or concerning symptoms, you should speak with your clinical team, 111 or 999 accordingly.

Legal and financial advice.  Our call handlers do not have training in legal or financial matters, but they can sign-post you to other organisations that may be able to help.
